Till & Harvest approached Green Monkeys Studio with an exciting vision: they wanted to create a website application that would connect local communities to their local farmers, making fresh, farm-to-table produce more accessible. Their goal was to build a platform that would empower consumers to easily discover and purchase fresh produce directly from nearby farms. Green Monkeys Studio was tasked with designing an intuitive, user-friendly web app that would serve as a bridge between consumers and local farmers, providing a seamless experience for users seeking to support their local agricultural economy.
A key feature of the website app was the search function, which allows users to locate local farms based on their geographic proximity. By integrating location-based technology, we were able to design an interactive map and search tool that helped users quickly find farms nearby. Additionally, the platform features a comprehensive listing of local farmers' markets in the user's area, so people could discover not only farms but also seasonal markets where they could find fresh produce and other local goods. This feature was designed to enhance the community connection between consumers and farmers, promoting sustainable eating practices and supporting local economies.
To further enrich the user experience, the Till & Harvest web app also provides recipes using seasonal produce sourced from the local farms. By featuring simple, creative recipes that users could try with the fresh ingredients they purchased, the platform encouraged healthy, home-cooked meals and showcased the versatility of farm-fresh products. Green Monkeys Studio’s design ensured that these features were seamlessly integrated into the app’s clean, modern interface, making it easy for users to navigate between farm listings, farmers' markets, and recipe suggestions.
